As a filmmaker, Ricky most recently directed the film ,"The Monkey's Paw," a Gothic, suspenseful ghost story whose atmospheric look has been compared to the Hammer Films of the 60's. It's received thousands of views online and was featured in Fangoria Magazine. Film Threat magazine gave it 5 stars and Guillermo Del Toro called it “inventive, well-mounted, a very smart piece!” Upcoming projects are a comedy set in Paris called "Le Marie Originale" and a faithful, feature adaptation of the book "Dracula" entitled "The Vampyre Dracula" which is being given the same dramatic and epic treatment that Batman was given with the Dark Knight triology.

Ricky continues to support his love of composition and light, shooting shorts, music videos, commercials such as an interactive one for the energy drink "NOS."Available as an operator as well.

Born in Blacksburg, Virginia, he grew up in Northern Virginia and Frankfurt, Germany. He resides in Los Angeles with his beautiful wife and their beagle, Indy.
